A chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure that helps improve the appearance of skin.
What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure that helps improve the appearance of skin. During the procedure, you medical practitioner carefully applies combinations of powerful solution to the face, décolletage (neck and chest), or hands to remove dead skin cells. The solution penetrate into the skin, causing dead skin cells to peel off. The new skin is smoother and more refined-looking.
There are many types of chemical peel preparations, and the right preparation for you depends on your skin type and desired results. Light or superficial peels usually consist of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, such a glycolic, and lactic, or salicylic acid that are combined to improve the appearance of:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Mild to moderate photodamage
- Uneven tone and texture
- Acne and acne scarring
Reveal a new layer of beautiful skin with Blue PEEL RADIANCE
- Superficial , salicylic acid-base peel
- Can be used for a wide range of skin types
- Achieve instant, glowing results

Ferulac Peel
Properties of ferulic acid
Ferulic acid has antioxidant properties: it protects the skin from free radical aggression, inhibits and neutralizes their action and enhances the effects of vitamins C and E. It protects the skin from UVB and UVA radiation, contributing to minimize damage caused by the sun and protecting cellular DNA. Controls tyrosinase activity, preventing and lightening unwanted pigmentations. It also has a pro-apoptotic effect on cancer cells.
Properties of phloretin
Phloretin promotes the penetration of the rest of the ingredients by adsorbing to lipid surfaces and altering the dipole potential of lipid bilayers. It inhibits the activity of elastase, enzyme in charge of elastic fiber degradation. It also has antioxidant properties.

- Photoaging.
- Melasma and sun spots.

DND Recovery Peel
Peel system with liposomed active ingredients which acts selective and effectively on DNA to repair cells that have been damaged by solar radiation or free radicals. It improves actinic keratosis, evens skin tone and diminishes wrinkles.
Properties
Ferulic acid has antioxidant properties which protect skin from free radicals and enhance the effects of vitamins C and E. It strengthens the action of topical photoprotectors, controlling tyrosinase activity in order to lighten unwanted pigmentations. In addition, it has a pro-apoptotic effect on cancerous cells.
DNA repairing enzymes(photolyase, endonuclease, exonuclease) use photoreactivation or excision mechanisms to repair DNA.
Zinc and amino acids (arginine, cystine, phenylalanine and proline) help to stabilize the DNA chain.
Growth factors stimulate the activity of keratinocytes and fibroblasts (EGF, TGF-β2, GMCSF) and inhibit collagenase (TIMP-2).
Retinol and retinaldehyde accelerate cellular turnover. They protect, repair and stimulate collagen synthesis, reducing wrinkles. Also, they modulate activity of altered melanocytes and even skin tone.

Photorepairing Medical Peel
UV radiation present in the sun’s rays causes small lesions on our cells which, gradually, translate into an alteration of DNA structures. As a consequence, the accelerated aging of our skin begins: the stratum corneum thickens, skin becomes more rough and dry, wrinkles start showing, skin colour changes and blemishes appear.
What is a photorepairing peel?
DNA RECOVERY PEEL is a novel peel of medical use which helps repair sun damaged in our cells. It is an easy way of maintaining a healthy and beautiful skin, since it not only repairs, but also protects and prevents the appearance of new sun damage. It is the first peel which contains an exclusive cocktail of active ingredients encapsulated in liposomes, with antioxidant (ferulic acid), cellular DNA repairing (repairing enzymes, zinc and amino acids), regenerating and anti-wrinkle properties (growth factors and 3-Retinol system).
Visible results
- Prevents and repairs photo damage on your skin
- Improves the appearance of sun lesions
- More even skin tone, without blemishes
- Wrinkles are diminished
- Skin is softer, smoother and silky.
What should I know about this treatment?
It is a quick and easy procedure which lasts only 10-20 minutes, so you can receive the treatment at any time during the day.
It is a safe procedure: during the peel application you will notice a gentle tingling on the skin which will subside a few minutes after the end of the treatment.
In 2-3 days, your skin may start to peel slightly. This is a result of the peel’s beneficial effects on the skin which appears when layers of dead cells are eliminated and the cellular turnover process is stimulated. New skin is smoother, softer and more even in tone.
After the peel, the skin is left unprotected, so do not forget to use a SPF50+ sunscreen daily (Repaskin facial sunscreen or Mediderma’s Homecare sunscreen).
Use moisturising and regenerating creams in the days following the peel. Thereafter, we recommend using the specific DNA RECOVERY post-treatment cream in order to repair the skin on a daily basis.
Unlike other chemical peels, DNA RECOVERY PEEL is a treatment which is advisable all year long, even in the summer and warmer seasons. Thanks to the exclusive combination of its repairing and photo protecting active ingredients, it contributes to prevent and protect your skin from the appearance of sun lesions, a silent damage which is produced slowly and we fail to realise.
